   Every once in a while I toy with the idea of a second blog. If I created another free blog would I get 3GB of storage space just for that blog or would both blogs share the original 3GB?

   It's for each blog. Every individual free hosted WordPress.com blog comes with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images.
