   Hello,

   I have some much longer pieces that I would like to write, and populate with images, sounds, videos, and the like. …

   But, I would very much like to not have them referenced on the front page at all. (Without having to exclude hundreds of articles in that one little space)

   I would like them to be a subset of my site, but would like to be able to reach them by direct links, instead of an auto-generated link in a widget, or as an automatic posting on the front page.

   From the front page, I would like to be able to reference them multiple times, as a part of other postings.

   1.) Is there a way to write stories that are published, but not referenced by auto generated links on my home page?

   The blog I need help with is lenslord.com.

   Publish them as pages instead of posts. No automatic link to them as long as you use a theme without top navigation and as long as you don't add the Pages widget.
