Structure Theme - Featured Header Post/Image Question

  1. Hiya,

Love Organic Theme's 'Structure' theme and have recently introduced it to our blog. I was wondering if it were possible to not have the feature post repeat in the gallery of posts section below? Unless I am mistaken there is not a separate category to differentiate between the two. You set what category you would like the featured post to be pulled from and any recent posts are published beneath that in the order they are published. Subsequently (and as you can see on my site) there is a doppleganger!

Please help if you can :)

  2. Hi Melodynz,
Have a look at http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/my-solution-for-a-fixed-image-in-structure-theme-homepage?.(in french post=article) You will have the opportunity to choose your big top image.
Could you tell me if your search engine in the top right does work in your secondary pages (not the front one). I tried it when I visited your blog and got a error code return.

  3. the search problem has been fixed by the support.

  4. Hi there,

Thank you for the information however it is not quite what I was looking for. I have set a featured category for the header post and the same post is duplicated in the featured posts below this. It is only when I publish a new post that it is pushed down one etc etc

I think I will ask Organic Themes directly to see what they say, but thank you anyway.

Also YES! I had experienced the search issue from day one and had hoped that a widget would become available. The search function was terrible and always returned errors.

    Thank you.

@melodynz: You can only get rid of the featured image in posts if you buy the CSS upgrade.

  6. @panaghiotisadam Oh really? What a shame as I am not a CSS master, haha. Thank you for your help :)

  7. @melodynz You don't have to be a CSS master to try CSS. ;)

You might like it! (And I bet you'd be good at it.) Here's some info. just in case you want to give it a try some time.
