   Hi guys, im struggling really bad to register google apps to my blog. I'm just trying to get an email with my domain name in it. (blog is currently private)

   I've followed this guide here:
   http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

   But frankly on my PC the google verify screen looks completely different to this. Also I can't see the mention of words 'CNAME' anywhere on their verify page.

   I registered the domain through wordpress itself, and I can't seem to figure out what im doing wrong, and the guide seems to not be helping me :(

   The blog I need help with is bencadphotography.com.

   You may need staff help. They're off until the 2nd, but try asking them via your dashboard Help button for assistance.

   Oh, wait. Duh, I should have known. Google can't verify your blog if your blog is private, because it can't find your blog in the first place. This would only be doable with a public blog.
