   I'm trying to setup a free wordpress.com subdomain of stevepowell2000.wordpress.com but the blog thinks I'm trying to use a domain mapping. All I get is "Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. "

   Mapping a subdomain with the Domain Mapping Upgrade costs $13.00 per subdomain, per blog, per year.

   If you don’t yet have a domain registered, you can register one directly through WordPress.com. If you already have a domain but want to map it directly to your blog, not through a subdomain, read the instructions for mapping an existing domain to your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-subdomain/

   Have you purchased the domain mapping upgrade and followed these instructions?

   Thanks, but I'm not trying to put it on MY domain. I'm still on wordpress.com - this is a basic blahblahblah.wordpress.com site that it is complaining about. The stats page and several areas were having problems.

   Well nevermind, I logged out and back in - now all the sudden everything works fine.
   Sorry to waste everyone's time.
