It's a pretty straight forward title; I'm just wondering if it's worth it to submit my new domain to blog directories. I've already submitted http://itsabeautifulearth.wordpress.com, but should I submit itsabeautifulearth.com? I figured it would just cause the sites to crawl my page again, but sooner.

Yes I did. As they draw from RSS feeds what you need to do is supply the new URL for the domain and for the feed.
