    All that's said, some of you may want to consider offering E-mail subscription through FeedBurner service. I happen to know (through feed back from my viewers) that many do not like and therefore do not use RSS readers and these folks actually prefer updates pushed to their Inbox.

    I offer web-based news reader and E-mail service http://feeds2.feedburner.com/Shimworld and it's worked very well—readership is up. You are more than welcome to give this a try by subscribing to my blog http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=Shimworld (note that you only receive updates only when there's a new post) ... you are also free to unsubscribe anytime.

    This is much easier...

    Just look at this code:

    <img src=”http://faq.files.wordpress.com/2006/11/b28.png
    ” />     Click to Subscribe!

    1) replace the above text jeffnix with the name of YOUR blog
    2) Next note carefully this, the IMAGE you want to associate with the RSS feed can be edited as in the FAQ code list. just exchange this text above beginning with faq

    Thanks jeffnix, you finally helped me get it accomplished. But now when you click on the image it says "Problem? Looks like you have a problem here sir....."

    Nobody can help without a direct link to your blog, starting with http. We need to see exactly what you've done.

    I can't get this to work either
    I can get it to say subscribe, but I can't got the image to work. I save it just as it says, but when I reopen it, it's all disappeared to just <img>.

    I must be missing something here. Read through this whole thrread, the"Put your feed in your sidebar" guide, retyped the code, replaced with image info and ... nothing(?)

    This is the code I'm using in the 'Redoable Light' theme:

    Where am I going wrong?

    Do we have to use the image link located in http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/put-your-feed-in-your-sidebar/?

    Instead of using http://faq.files.wordpress.com/2006/11/c28.png can we upload the image we want to use somewhere and use it? If so how?

    I went to the dashboard and uploaded a picture but I cannot find the http address for it.

    Hi all,

    Quick Question. I have followed all of the instructions, but it says "An error has occurred; the feed is probably down. Try again later." Is this just a normal glitch? Or could this be something I can fix myself?
