Subscription e-mail is blank

    One of my subscribers just contacted me today privately to inform me the email she received for my published recipe yesterday and another recipe today were received BLANK, a header only basically. There was no content/body in the two emails. She is the only subscriber to report this to me thus far. Any thoughts on what could have caused this blank mailing?

    The blog I need help with is buttoni.wordpress.com.

    Hello there,
    This issue is quite widespread and there are other threads on it. Staff are working to correct the problem. What is helpful for them to know is which email client is being used and which browser and version of it is being used.

    When you post to this forum will you please always provide the URL starting with http:// for the blog in question do it can be located and examined? If you prefer you can link your username to your blog. Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

    Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

    Thank you for your prompt response, Timethief. My very first post here. And I have now linked my username to my blog now.

    I'm glad to learn this is an ongoing problem and that it is being addressed. I will go back to my user and get her email client/browser info and post it back here ASAP.

    I have two subscribers with the same problem.

    And when they forwarded the posts back to me, they were perfect on my iPhone, but blank when I opened them in Outlook on my desktop.

    Glad I'm not alone.

    Here too. Since about four days my subscription emails as well as mails from wordpress are grey, blank, not a word in sight. I use mainly google chrome or aol.

    Me too... Is it necessary for me to find out all that info on subscribers I don't even Know? Will this problem be cleared soon. I suggest to those that let me know this was a problem to unsubscribe and then re-subscribe. NOt that I have any idea whether that will help, it just seemed logical.

    I use foxmail and sinceabout the 25th of September I have had the same problem , all emails from wordpress are blank, I can change the format and everything is thewre in the message, just not showing. All other emails I recieve are normal. Who do I need to tell?
    I just found this thread on a search.

    I received word from a couple of my subscribers that they receive my email subscription but the content is blanked out. Mine content has been deleted since Sept. 26. How do I correct this problem?

    I have same issue; wish wordpress would give us a plain text option until this is fixed.

    I'm having the same problem receiving subscription e-mails in my Comcast e-mail account. Sometimes notifications of comments on my blog appear blank, as well.

    My emails from WordPress are blank, but only in IE8, on one computer. They load fine on my two other computers in IE8, as well as in Firefox and Chrome on all computers. What's up with this one computer and IE8?

    Thank you so much. My reader never offered me any info other than she was on AOL. Didn't KNOW what browser she uses! So I got nowhere fast there. Glad it seems to be fixed.
