   Hello All!

   I've got family and friends visiting my blog. But, many of them are not familiar with the interactivity of blogs. I’m using the Andreas09 Theme and by default the bottom of Posts simply states “no comments”. I want them to leave comments but they aren’t used to “scrolling just below the post, and clicking on the no comments link; to open the comments area, in order to enter a comment”.
   Does anyone have any suggestions that I could implement to educate my visitors on submitting comments? I’m looking for something, quick and easily digested.

   You could add a relevant note at the end of your posts, or maybe in a text widget. (Or you could switch to a theme with different tabs: some say "Leave a Comment" or "Leave a Reply".)

   HALF THE TIME WHEN I ATTEPT TO LEAVE A COMMENT OR REPLY I NEVER KNOW WEATHER OR NOT IT GETS SEEN BY THE TIME I GET BACK HERE I CANT FIND THE TOPIC OR FORUM. THIS STUFF IS ALL NEW TO ME . I'M STILL TRING TO LEARN HOW TO WRITE THINGS THAT CAN BE READ BY OTHERS I WOULD LOBACK ON MY WRITING OR IS IT BLOGS? DO WE WRITE POSTS IN OUR BLOGS ON OUR DASHBOARD AND THEN PUBLISH IT?

   If you have a manageable number of friends and family that you want to comment on or respond to your posts, you could just send them personal (or bbc) emails with the link to the post:
   (your most recent for example: http://positivepassage.wordpress.com/2009/01/24/scaling-down-rites-of-passage-ceremony-due-to-space/ )
   And tell them in your email how to make a comment. (that is: scroll down to write, etc.) Then make a comment yourself to the post with their responses quoted.
   or just let them respond to your email.

   That may or not be a possibility for you.
