I suggest that the only way to get support from other interested bloggers is to know that there is no such thing as passive blog promotion. The "build it and they will come" notion is not applicable. You must learn how to actively promote your blog both within and without the wordpress.com community. You must also understand that you will have to comment, comment, comment and then comment again before you get any reciprocity or traffic flow back to your own blog. this take time, energy and an organized approach.
