Surpress Custom Header Image on One Page

  1. Howdy. I really like the Twenty Eleven theme but need to suppress the header image on only one category/page. Specifically, the blog has a "multimedia" page/category that includes posting of photos, videos, etc and having a photo in the header makes the page overly busy.

    Any idea how to do this?

    Any and all comments are appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Bob

  3. There is no "multimedia" category showing on: http://pixelhose.wordpress.com/ . Are you talking about a different blog?

  4. With twenty eleven, you can do this though.

    .category-multimedia #branding img {
    display: none;
    }
  5. @thesacredpath: Thanks for the reply. Funny that you had the blog address but WordPress's own "bot" didn't and barked at me. So much for an intelligent bot, ha?!

    That funny aside... The "multimedia" category on pixelhose is labelled "Unwritten", basically referring to anything that is not in text. I am assuming your suggestion would work just as well with ".category-unwritten" and that multimedia is not a "keyword" of sorts here.

    Is that assumption correct? If so, am I assume that I need to buy the cutomization upgrader to be able to do this?

    Thanks again

    Bob

  6. The bot works off what you choose from the "blog" pulldown. If you do not select a blog from the pulldown, then it has nothing to go on.

    Yes, to do this you would need the custom design upgrade so that you could edit the CSS.

  7. @thesacredpath: Thanks.

  8. You are welcome.
