Survey on wordpress support

  1. I just got an email asking me to rate the person that reponded to my post. I was hoping that after I selected my response I could clarify with a comment, but no, I could not. I do not want my extreme frustration with trying to get support from wordpress to be reflected on this one person. Having a 3 response option without the opportunity to comment is not really fair to the person who provided the support.

    I tried hard for days to figure out how to pay for our domain as the domain expired when the person who had set it up was out of town for an extended period. I kept looping in circles on the support site tryiing to figure out how to contact WordPress directly. Finally someone sent me an email about my post, so my frustration is not really related to the staffperson who responded, it is related to my attempts to find timely support.

  4. Thanks. It would be great if in the domains payment area there was a way to send an email to someone at WordPress. Several of us wandered through the support forum trying to figure out how to contact someone. We have an annual meeting coming up - and registration information is on our site. We also had a national meeting that was providing information about state coalitions and their websites ... some of the information to include in that update could not be accessed and the request was made to us on a 3 day turnaround. I know it's our responsibility to get that domain payment made...we are still not certain who received the email about the pending payment. (Is is possible to set up a primary and a seconday person so two people are informed?) At last the person with the rights to make the payment came back to town, but our site was down at least 11 days. We're a fledgling group and working on sorting things out.

    Great suggestion. I forwarded this idea to our support developers for consideration.

    Is is possible to set up a primary and a seconday person so two people are informed?

    There isn't currently a way to add a second email for upgrade expiration notices. I think it would make more sense to have that as an option if the second person also had the option to renew the upgrade when they receive a notice. I posted both things as ideas for review. I'm sure we can make some improvements based on your feedback. Thanks for taking the time to post it.
