Hello. Today appeared 147 visits from Lithuania and 110 from Alaska. That's suspicious because appeared in only 5 mins or less and what is more, I'm from México and I don't have any relation with those places. I switched my blog to private mode. Is this a virus attack? What can I do?

  2. I would not have made my blog private due to this. Akismet is an excellent spam filter and you can moderate all comments. For additional secuirty measures see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/security/

  3. If you are concerned about the possibility of your blog being hacked you do do as follows:
Go here > Users > All Users and delete any user that does not belong there.
Disable post by email > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/
Disable post by voice > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-voice/
Change your blog password to a very difficult one > http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-password
Use a secure, encrypted connection to connect to your Dashboard. Under Users → Personal Settings, check the box that says “Always use HTTPS when visiting administration pages, and click Save Changes.
Go to your email program and change the password to a very difficult one
