Switched the domain in settings and now my dashboard is the new homepage

  1. I was trying to redirect a site to c2itmarketing.net and in doing so I changed a url under settings to see if that would work. Now when I hit dashboard while logged in I am redirected to http://c2itmarketing.wix.com/c2itmarketing/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fc2itmarketing.net%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit.php%3Fpost_type%3Dpage&reauth=1,
instead of the dashboard so I can change the url back to c2itmarketing.net. I did this on the dashboard/general/settings. The little admin bar the top of pages while logged in does not even pop up anymore. Is there a way for me to get back into the admin to change the url again or reset the setting to an earlier date?

The blog I need help with is c2itmarketing.net.

  2. There is no domain mapping upgrade for c2itmarketing.net here at WordPress.com. If you want to use that domain URL to map to from http://c2itmarketing.wordpress.com/ then you have to purchase a domain mapping upgrade.

Domain mapping of an existing domain URL that you already own and purchased elsewhere is not done free of charge to you have to renew both very year in two different places.

    Important Notes Before Upgrading http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#important-notes-before-upgrading

Mapping an existing domain costs $13. annually. In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.

See here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 - 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What's important during that stage is to be patient.
