Syndicated View count appears too high, why?

  1. We run our WordPress blog feed via RSS to the homepage of our website. Any single post (we do about 3 per week) will receive on the order of 800-1,200 syndicated views per day. Using Google Analytics, we typically only get 300-400 site visits per day TOTAL, or one third the amount of syndicated views as indicated in WordPress stats. We have very few subscribers to the blog.

What causes the huge discrepancy in numbers of syndicated views in WordPress vs. Total site visits in Google Analytics?

The blog I need help with is helphealinghope.wordpress.com.

  2. How do you manage to use Google Analytics on a WordPress.com blog?
