   Hi,

   tag clouds are IMHO intrinsic to blogs.

   If wordpress.com can't think of a better layout for the offered tag cloud, than please let us customize it. The category cloud shows that it is possible.

   I have the "edit css" subscription and very unhappy that the generated cloud tag items are not customizable, as they have unique (!!!) tag class names:

   <br /> <a href="http://techscouting.wordpress.com/tag/atlassian/" title="7 Artikel">atlassian</a><br />

   This is quite a no-go for me, and strong enough to make me think of self-hosting the blog. And btw. I do self host other blogs, this was my first wordpress.com experiment.
