Hi there,
I sometimes post recipes in my blog post and I have a page set up that with my category tag it moves my post to a page called recipes. Is there anyway not to take the whole blog post but just the recipe part and move it to that page?

The software is not designed to do what you want to do. There is no automattic way to do this.
