Regarding 1) I am using Firefox 26.1 and the dropdown links in both widgets work for me.
Please work through what follows and report back.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1196-internet-explorer-compatibility-view-turn-off.html
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/safari-ipad-clear-cache.htm
http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. Try using another browser.
5. If you are not successful let us know:
(a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/
(c) Exactly what any error reports you receive state. -
(1) I use Chrome and it used to work. I noticed today that it does not work. Same thing JustJennifer is saying.
(2) I see. Since I like changing my theme now-and-then, for now, I do not want to pay for ‘customized. Thank you, TimeThief for all the info, which I will review. :)

@justjennifer
Thanks for confirming you are using Chrome 32. It’s not on this computer and I already have stuff (chron jobs) running on the other two.@faestwistandtango
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance with that issue. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting. -

Hi Fae,
I see scrollbars in Firefox, but in Chrome the entire list displays at once, or there’s a small arrow at the bottom for scrolling. Are you unable to reach all the categories in Chrome? Or do you just prefer the look of the scrollbars?
-
Hi Eurello,
I bought a brand new laptop today. On the new one, on Chrome, the scroll bard does work. On the old laptop, the scroll bar does not even move to scroll to see hidden tags/months. On Explorer, every thing in shown, not scroll bar is necessary. Thank you for checking. -
Hi Fae – In that case, it was probably just an issue related to your old Chrome browser. I can see all your categories/months in Chrome on my end.
-
@eurello-I’m using Chrome 32 (latest) on Win7 64-bit on a 2 year-old PC.
As I mentioned above, I can also scroll through those dropdown menus by using the mouse scroll, but the scrollbar does not slide if I grab it by left-click/hold and try to move it.
Just to confirm this, I also looked in my Media Library and it’s the same behavior there. Can scroll through the dropdown menu, but can’t grab and move the scrollbar.

I don’t see a scrollbar in Chrome 32 at all. Here’s what the widget looks like for me:
https://cloudup.com/cGVs3Vo7OLUJennifer, mind grabbing a screenshot of what you’re seeing?

Here ya go: https://i.cloudup.com/6vCtSu9VpD.JPG
I’d hoped that the flash12 update would have done something, but no.

Ok, thanks! It seems this is an issue with Chrome 32 and Windows specifically. It’s a core bug, so I’ve filed a bug report.
-
Scratch that, seems it’s a Chrome bug occurring with Windows 7:

Oh, that’s good to know. So then, not too many people are affected by that bug. http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_os.asp
