Tel links don't function properly

    I'm trying to use a "tel:+###########" <a> tag in a page, but rather than behaving as such a link normally would, it goes to "http://[myblog].wordpress.com/+###########". Is there any way I can work around this?

    Oops, I didn't know the backticks would put the tag in a separate line. Sorry!

    Hi. Maybe "tel" links are not supported by WordPress.com after all. I suggest you ask them once the contact form reopens in a few days:
