text spacing

  1. I can't seem to find any way to change the spacing between the lines of my blog post. Can anyone help?

  2. Can you give us a link to your blog so we can see what you mean? If you can provide a few more details, that might help as well. Is all your text getting squashed together? Are there no spaces between your posts or do you mean you're unable to add extra spaces?

  3. I am having this same problem.

  4. I think he/she means they can not add extra spaces. I am having the same problem. I used to be able to do it by simply using the space bar, which works until you save it. The same goes for using the spacer tag or the special character code to add a blank space. It's funny how when the simplest thing fails to work it can be so aggravating. I hope this is a temporary problem.

  5. I am having the same problem today too.

This second sentence has some spaces after the last.

  6. Spacing

This should be 3 spaces down from the word space.

  7. If you want more than one line of space between paragraphs, go into code view and try putting the following code on the blank line between paragraphs<p> </p> It should force an extra line. HTML, and the web, by design typically strip out extra spaces between words or sentences, and also strips out extra lines between paragraphs. You have to remember that the web is not a word processor or page layout program, so some things are either not really possible, or are more of a pain to accomplish.

@tsp - Those are some of the most salient points I've seen on this recurring issue. I hope you won't mind if I copy/paste & credit your words in the future.

  9. @ella
Thanks ella and feel free to copy and paste away.

  10. And by the way, no credit is required.
