I'm using the Sight theme for my blog and want to know how to edit (shorten) the text that appears in the slide show - I can see that it is the beginning of the articel, but I only want to show a few roads of text in the slide show - how can I edit this and choose how much text I want to show.

Although Sight already shows excerpts on the front page display, you could try using the "More" tag to shorten your posts even further. You can read about it here:
