I am trying to add a Facebook "Like" box. I followed the step by step directions and when I press save it erases the code. What is going on? Is this happening to anyone else. Am I doing something wrong?
The blog I need help with is punkytriumph.wordpress.com.
The facebook like box code is not HTML. It is javascript, and javascript is not allowed here at wordpress.COM for security reasons.

There is a reported workaround, but I have never used it so I can't tell you if it works, or how many hoops you have to jump through to make it work.

Many of her solutions are... hoop rich, but she has come up with some workarounds to a number of issues here.

If the code is available in flash instead of javascript, as I said above, there is quite possibly a workaround using the gigya shortcode, but with javascipt, no workarounds.
The one thing to remember with flash though is that with the large amount of iPhones, iPods Touches and iPads now roaming the internet, they do not support flash, so for anyone using one of those devices, the flash will not show.
