Thanks to timethief!

  1. I noticed that you were going to all the posts people were leaving in a panic, and directing them towards the sticky. That's an awesome thing to do so I thought someone should let you know we noticed and think you're great for doing that.

Thank you for all the time you put in here.

Well, considering how much we baby our blogs, it was a bit like the feeling of losing your kid in a supermarket. WHERE IS MY BABY?????

  3. @fracas
Your kindness moved me to tears. I'm sincerely hoping that people will not all rush to use the importer to back up their blogs. That would not be wise. What is wise is having backup in place every time you write and from the moment you begin to write. Floowing the last "incident" I published this Disaster Planning: Backups for Bloggers

  4. Well, I know that every time I come here for help, I can be sure to find certain people here, one of them being you.

People are quick to complain but not as quick to let someone know they're appreciated. I try each time I come, to make sure the regulars here know how much it comforts me to know I'll always find one of you here to help.

Your help is just awesome. We notice and we luv ya for it.

  5. Thank you! for your help.

  6. @ timethief

Hey, don't know why I haven't done that yet either. So - there you are, tt. Blogs on blogging.

  8. @junemoon and lettershometoyou
    {blushing} Thanks!

  9. @fracas
    Thanks times two. :)

  10. Yes. A lot of thanks to timethief! She is the greatest! You rock girl!!!

  11. @timethief
I would just like to add my sincere thanks too - your knowledge and help on this forum is invaluable. It's good to know you're there for us!!

  12. @universalgeni and pemadesign
You are both precious. Thanks for saying thanks. :)

  13. TT has been / is a great asset to the forum and a great community member for a long time now. A lot of folk really appreciate her work but in the way of forums, they very rarely get a chance to say so. So thanks TT. I have learned huge amounts about the inner workings of com from you. Minor spats, disagreements, and misunderstandings in tone are inevitable in this type of thing. But it is going to be a real shame if a small vocal minority can drive away good people. I have always thought that some people resent the earlier changes in moderators but those are in the past and the forum needs to move on. Grinding out the ongoing angst by bringing down the survivors is not the best way forward IMHO.

  14. rock on tt! :D

  15. I agree and she has been most helpful. Thankyou !

  16. @atthe404
I have likewise learned from you and I'm humbled by your expression of gratitude.
    Namaste

  17. @sanjidabd
    You also rock - you crazy blogging fool. :D {said with affection}

  18. @spdd
Thanks for the thanks. Helping you is a pleasure. :)

  19. As a blogger who has benefited greatly from tt's help and tips, I must say it was refreshing to see this outpouring of gratitude. A wonderful idea to start this thread, fracas. It's a good idea, IMO, to remember that we all want blogging and WP to be a positive experience, and I also appreciate atthe404's insights and history. Thanks again, tt.

  20. @museditions
Thanks for the thanks. I appreciate it very much. :)

  21. TT, you are appreciated more than you know. I'd still be hacking my way through the HTML editor and cursing the fact that WP wasn't more word processor-like if it weren't for your telling me about the visual editor. Most of the people helping out in the forum learned from you in the first place. And the staff owes you a big debt of gratitude as well; you really hold the fort when something flares up; just look at the past week!

  22. @raincoaster
    {blushing deeply} Thanks.
