The email said "Freshly Pressed" When does that actually happen?

    This morning I got a wonderful email saying one of my posts had been selected to be freshly pressed "later today." I was really excited and told a bunch of friends and family, but it's been almost 7 hours at this point and many of the people I told are kind of like "WTF?" since it hasn't shown up yet. (And my mother...don't even get me started on the grief I'm getting from my mother about this...I think she thinks I made the whole thing up.)

    Any thoughts here?

    I 'm sorry but we Volunteers cannot help you with this. The selections are made by a single editor http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/feature?replies=12#post-484719

    Yup! It posted around 6pm (EST)! I sent my mom a screen shot and everything :)
