   Hi there, today I created a new category and for whatever reason it's not showing up. I use the custom menu widget on my sidebar to list all the categories on the blog. I go through things in the dashboard and I can see the new category everywhere I should, but for whatever reason it's not updating onto the actual list of categories on the blog. Any ideas as to what I can do would be great. I've already tried removing the widget and replacing it back into the sidebar and it didn't work.

   The blog I need help with is logg64.wordpress.com.

   Have you categorized a post with that category? If no posts are under that category, the category won't display because there would be nothing to show if someone clicked on that category.

   Will please provide a link to the blog and also tell us what the phantom category is called?

   Yes that is indeed the blog. The category is called "2 Minute Reviews" and should be on the very top of the upper right menu.
