Up until yesterday, when I posted a photo as a blog post and used publicize, the photo would appear in the blog post on my Facebook page. Yesterday however when I did exactly the same thing as I usually do the photo does not appear, the only picture that appears is my gravatar. I haven't changed any settings and I cannot get any joy from Facebook in trying to finds out if the problem is with them. Please can someone help me??

I am reporting the same problem. Somehow I have a feeling that this issue is related to the Top Post & Pages Widget issue reported earlier (which is a sticky post at the forum).

It's not the WordPress.com Publicize app that selects which images to display or compels any image displayed at all. Staff has explained many times this is not an issue at this end of things.
Unfortunately, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. @timethief, many people are reporting the same issue. Something is broken at WordPress.com with gravatar service. I am suspecting a relationship with this issue and the Top Post & Widget problem.
