The search engine doesn’t seem to pick-up words from my posts
-
Hi, when I put in key words from my posts into the WordPress search engine the search comes back negative? As I have only had my blog for a few days am I just being impatient?
Thankyou
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also, unless you give the search engines some guidance, by assigning tags to your posts, they will pull out keywords that THEY think are important, and they may not be the best choices for your material. Don’t leave it up to them. Tag your posts with up to 10 appropriate tags.

Thankyou – another daft question, but how do you add tags to each post? I think I have added generic tags for my blog but not for each post
Thankyou

For Global tags, categories and tags work exactly the same

But post categories can be helpful in organizing your posts because they can be hierarchical: main categories, and sub-categories.

In addition, the categories widgets can be configure and will display all of your categories while the tag cloud is limited (to 40??).
