Hey WP, I have a few ideas for a new theme that I would absolutely LOVE for you to have (cause i cant make one to save my life xD )
1. a customizable header
2. customizable back ground
3. middle column
4. two side bars (one on left, and one on right)
5. changeable font colors
6. changeable fonts etc.

Hi. Among the existing WP.com themes, zBench corresponds to criterias 1, 2, 3 and 4, while Digg 3 Column corresponds to 1, 3 and 4.
To change fonts you can use TypeKit on any theme. Font colors can be changed for each individual post or page through some HTML coding or through the CSS upgrade and some good CSS experience.
You can also find a theme that corresponds to your needs and suggest it here (be specific, as indicated on the sticky post in the Themes section).
