Theme request: freshy

    After four months or so of blogging, the only problem I've had with the themes available here is that I've never been able to find that sweet spot of preference. If I love the font, the theme's usually too wide/long/cramped/stifling/in gaudy colours for my taste -- and if it's in a decent font it's overtly dull and not in the least eye-catching (Hemingway as an example).

    With that in mind, freshy seems like a great opportunity to break the mould of things: http://www.jide.fr/english/downloads/template-freshy-wordpress/

    What do you think of it? I'd be really grateful if this could be installed -- while leaving in the awesome colour customization options and whatnot. It's one of the most striking and eye-catching themes I've seen around -- all this while retaining readability. Thanks! (:

    Best bet would be to submit a feedback from your dashboard and request it. Staff has mentioned that this is how they keep tabs on requests like this.

    Not a problem. Don't mind discussing theme requests here either. You can gather support and we can discuss the merits of specific themes here.

    The feedback is suggested since Podz and the rest of the staff keeps track on stuff like that.

    When he's not running around in that wheel of his powering the servers of course. :)

    So, while we're on the subject, what do you think of this theme? The other thread saw some, if not a majority of the themes being rejected (maybe "negatively commented upon" sounds better) due to GPL and linking issues, among other things. And some didn't look that great.

    What do you think of this one? :| Personally I've never come across another WordPress theme so far that's got the right balance of aesthetics like this one.

    Very cool looking theme, looks complicated! I like how you have the option to change the hover color and such, I think it would be popular here at WP :)

    I'd rather love a white background which makes it look more professional.
    Grey isn't bad either.
