I've been having some problems with trying to transfer a theme I downloaded to my domain or whatever.
I'm pretty picky so it's been incredibly difficult to find a new theme that I enjoy while searching through them in the dashboard.
They aren't bad, they're just not my style.
So I decided to look up some other free WordPress themes and came across a bunch that I would have to use FileZilla or an FTP client to transfer the files to my blog (I'm using FileZilla).
I've researched on how to use it and where to put what things in the spaces that are given on FileZilla.
But the error i'm getting is a "critical error". Here's the log:
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 (vsFTPd 2.3.4)
Command: USER dubsteplyrics
Response: 331 Please specify the password.
Command: PASS ****************
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error
Error: Could not connect to server
So I did some more research and found out I need an FTP account. I tried making one using the FileZilla server interface, but it still didn't work.
So I tried my WordPress login information and it still didn't work.
I really don't know what to do, and it's been bugging me for hours. Apparently it's really simple, but not to me.
If anyone can help out somehow, that'd be great!
