  1. I have downloaded a theme I like from Theme Forest. How do I import that in to WordPress. Do I need to go Premium to do this? Thank you

The blog I need help with is balancedigital.wordpress.com.

  2. The name WordPress actually denotes two different entities:
WordPress.com is the site you are on; they will host your web site and provide the themes, tools and support to make your site great.
WordPress.org is the site which handles the WordPress software which you download and install on a web host that you provide (from a host like dreamhost.com). You need a WordPress.org installation to use a theme that you've downloaded or purchased from another site.
If you have any questions about setting up a WordPress.org install, check out the WordPress.org codex.

    Hi there,
The only themes we can use on free hosted WordPress.com blogs like your blog are the themes found here http://wordpress.com/themes/

There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot upload any third party themes, create child themes or our own themes or edit templates.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. Please read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Also note that premium themes and all upgrades provided through WordPress.,COM can only be used on free hosted WordPress>COM blogs and no others.
