Themes are not able to install

    Hi, i am having a problem installing themes onto my wordpress site, i can install plugins and widgets fine, but when i try to install a them i get this:

    Downloading install package from http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/small-business.1.01.zip…

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    Could not create directory. /Library/WebServer/Documents/sauteercflyers/wp-content/themes/small-business/

    Theme install failed.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Seth, I'm not sure where you're attempting to upload themes from, but, I just signed up with Elegantthemes and I don't even see the"Install" option in my WP dashboard under "Appearance", any ideas?

    nightfox7 - you've reached support for the free sites hosted at WordPress.com site. For assistance with a self-hosted WordPress site, you can try the WordPress.org support forums:

    candicebarrigher13 - WordPress.com doesn't support uploading of third-party themes, which is an option only available with a self-hosted WordPress.org site. To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.

    These forums are for WordPress hosted blogs. For self-hosted blogs, you should go to WordPress.org forums.
