Themes with more than one custom menu in the header

    Hi everyone,

Is there any way someone can post a list of the themes that have the option to have more than one custom menu in the header?

I'd like to create the drop-down menu effect and am really struggling to do it without having a lot of CSS experience or the ability to pay for a domain name.

The blog I need help with is inretrospect21.wordpress.com.

  2. Enterprise and Beach are the only 2 themes for free blogs provided here at wordpress.COM that meet your criteria.

Are you referring to a wordpress.COM blog? I'm asking becuase you have not linked your blog to your username and you have not provided the URL for the blog in question. If you are reffering to a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM and want to link your userbname to your blog it's easy to do.

Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog starting and then save changes.

Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

  3. You don't need CSS to do dropdown menus. Take a look at my test blog that has Mistylook on it right now. On the about menu I've created a drop down with several levels of sub menu items.

Secondly, you had already created a thread here in the forums for this subject: http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/adding-more-than-one-custom-menu-in-theme?replies=2 .

To find previous threads you have started or that you have posted in, just click your username at the top of the forum page where it says, Welcome, username.

Ok, I understand that and I know I can do it. How did you put the other menu items on though, beside the about menu? You have contact, archives etc. According to what I've been told, you can only have 2 of those custom menus in either the Enterprise or Beach theme.

  5. Each tab is NOT a menu. Each tab represents one item in one menu. You can add as many items as you want to a single menu.

Take a look here at all the tabs in the top navigation. That is ONE menu with a whole bunch of pages added to it.
