   Hi everyone, I'm having a few minor issues with the Chateau theme. I'm not sure if it's a Windows Live Writer issue, a Chateau issue, or a mix of both.

   1) When I publish a post (using Live Writer) all my pictures look fine, I don't add extra styles (shadows etc.) to them (because Chateau adds its style on top of that and it looks weird) or padding. Once the post is published it gets the 'Chateau picture treatment' and all my pictures get, in addition to shadows, a thin white line at the bottom. It doesn't bother me a huge amount, but is there anyway to get rid of it?

   2) Now and then a photo will encroach on text space. For example in my most recent post, the second photo is extremely close to the writing on its left - almost cutting it off. The other photos in the post don't have this issue. All the photos were formatted in the same way, I'm not sure why this is different. Is there a way to fix this? I tried adding padding to the html but it didn't do anything...

   I managed to resolve 2) editing the post and making it right-aligned, again - it seemed to refresh it I guess. But it seems weird it did it in the first place? Is it Live Writer's fault? Is there any blog writer that's more compatible with wordpress.com?

   Hi. Do you have a specific example (http://...) of a post or a page where #1 is happening?

   it happens on all of my posts since using Chateau, but this one is a good example:

   A 3px ish white line runs along the the bottom of each picture in that post and it was never on my pictures to begin with.

   Like I said before it's not a huge deal, but I'm just confused as to why it's there and it irritates me a little bit.

   In case it helps my picture process is: Insert picture into my Live Writer post, choose its alignment, get rid of any auto-style (shadow etc.) that LW puts on, watermark, get rid of link (in most cases).
   It's only once I've uploaded it that the white lines appear.

   The CSS for Chateau adds 3px of padding on all sides of an image. The image code I'm seeing in your posts takes out the padding on top, right and left (sets them to 0) but not for the bottom.

   You can switch to the HTML editor and in the "img src section, in the "style" section, add

   padding-bottom: 0;

   If you add an image using the wordpress editor, I think you will see the 3px of padding on all sides of the image, so I expect it is something that WLW is missing somehow.

   For future images when you edit the code in WLW just add the following:

   padding: 0;

   Ah that makes sense, I thought it was something like that but wasn't sure how to make it right. How weird that WLW gets rid of 3 sides but not the 4th. Ah well, now I know how to fix it I'm happy.
