Thumbnail/preview image post

    Hey!
    I'm looking for a way to have a preview/thumbnail image for every post on my homepage, and not not showing when clicking read more,to read the post.
    I don't know if it's possible with CSS..

    And is it possible to use CSS for every other post/page?

    The blog I need help with is notfromflorence.com.

  2. The only way I can think of to do this would require you to add a CSS class to the image at the top of the post and then use CSS to hide that image on single post pages (after clicking title or "Continue Reading"). Here is an example for your Rice, rice, and rice post.

    You would open the post in the editor, switch to the text tag and then add a CSS class (I've used hide in my example) to the img src code. It would look like this:

    <img height="507" width="676" alt="" src="http://i58.tinypic.com/qnwkrm.jpg" class="alignnone hide">

    Then go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the following custom CSS. It will hide any image on single post pages that has the "hide" class.

    .single .hide {
        display: none;
    }
