   I purchased a domain upgrade from WordPress on Jan 17. Today is Jan 23 and the new domain has not yet appeared in my Store-->Domain page.

   I have written 2 emails to WordPress support about this with no replies (and a third one today).

   I am very frustrated, as I have an opportunity to talk about my new blog on the local radio (52 weeks of giving strangers gifts I love and value) and want to give out the new domain.

   Can anyone help me, please?

   The blog I need help with is talkingtostrangersdotme.wordpress.com.

   Please post the URL starting with http:// for the domain in question. Please verify whether or not you followed all the stepshere http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/#instructions-for-registering-a-new-domain-for-your-blog and in fact the Primary Domain was not deisgnated by the blogger. Please go back over all these steps and especially note 5.

   5. To activate your new domain, select the button next to the one you wish to activate and click Update Primary Domain. Your blog will be accessible from both of these domains; the Primary Domain is what actually appears as your domain within the address bar of web browsers. If you do not see your blog at the new domain immediately, please allow some time for the DNS changes to propagate. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/register-domain/#instructions-for-registering-a-new-domain-for-your-blog

   Contacting Staff more than once on the same issue does not expedite getting help. Staff have over 25 million to provide support to. They deal with support tickets by addressing the earliest dated tickets first. If you keep contacting them that moves the date foryward and that means it takes longer to get help.

   Thank you for your prompt reply. I did go through the steps to purchase the new domain and have an email receipt from Jan 17. I have gone to Dashboard-Store-Domains in my current .wordpress.com blog daily in order to click on the Update Primary Domain - but the paid domain name does not appear there at all (only the free .wordpress.com domain with the "never" expiration date).

   The domain in question is:

   The current free domain is:

   http://www.talkingtostrangersdotme.wordpress.com

   Given your note, I now regret the multiple contacts to support staff.

   However, I am at a loss as to what to do next - as my decision to purchase the domain from WordPress rather than NameCheap (as I did for my other blog) was to expedite the process.
