tiny, unreadable blog--all pages

  1. this blog is secondary to http://lawalkerslc.wordpress.com. Main blog is fine. All of handi van blog suddenly zoomed down too small to read. pages, dashboard, everything.

it may be related to something I deleted. I was trying to upload a document onto a page.
instead some strange stuff came up. i deleted it--uploaded what really wanted. But when I went to
save it to the page or just after--zoom down the rabbit hole. no idea what to do.

The blog I need help with is handivaninc.wordpress.com.

  2. Maybe press CTLR +, if you are using safari, you must have zoomed out accidently.

  3. lawalkerslc.wordpress.com looks OK to me.

In most browsers, Ctrl+0 will reset the zoom.

  4. Here's an article that's on point. Click to locate the keyboard shortcuts you can use to increase or decrease font (text) size in various browsers.

  5. @tt ~ Thanks for the point to the article. I couldn't make the tricks work for IE. Perhaps my poor Vista is the culprit.

But I can enlarge in FF now, and that's good enough. These old eyes can use some help now and then.

  6. @shoreacres
I'm happy to hear it helped with Firefox. As for IE just don't get me started ... lol :D (joke) Which version of IE are you using?
IE6 is a dog that Microsoft gas stopped supporting. IE7 has some problems. IE8 is workable. IE9 is BETA and has issues.

  7. I have run into similar problems. It is caused by the new tools web designers are using to display the media. I am referring to things like lightbox and etc. When you copy material to paste you carry all the code behind what you have copied. Many times such things as <form>, many types of script, and other things do not work on WordPress. Copying straight text very rarely has any problems. But images can be a problem if the image you have copied is displayed using lightbox. The best way I have found to install images is to save the image to "My Pictres" and then use the image loader above the stage. Another thing which can cause a lot of problems is trying to install apps by copying and then pasting them into your post.

None of what you refer to is at issue in this thread. We can either use our browser to increase or decrease font size on any web site we visit on the internet, or as bloggers we may choose to increase the font size on our blogs. There are 4 options for font family and font size and font color changes on wordpress.com blogs.

    (1) Changing font colors and size on posts or pages either post by post or page by page
    (2) Changing font colors
    (3) Changing font styles (families) throughout the whole blog by using TypeKit Fonts
    (4) Changing font style (families) and color throughout the whole blog by CSS editing
See here for more > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/02/04/changing-fonts-in-wordpress-com-blogs/

  9. Sorry, I misunderstood the question.

  10. No problem. It's easy to get sidetracked. Happy blogging to you. :)
