Any help would be much appreciated. I like using WordPress but I'm not a programmer so please explain any tips/hints. I think I have good content and I've been maintaining for a few months but it seems like the only traffic I get is from my family who I've given the links to. Any suggestion for getting more people to find my Blog?

Also, there is a ton of very useful information on increasing traffic, improving your blog and such over at http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/
Commenting on blogs with a similar interest is a great way to attract people to your blog. Not only will they come over, but you can attract some of their readers to your blog as well... but it's important to maintain the relationships you make.
You also might want to add "Travel" and "Tourism" to your "Categories" list.
