Titles are not appearing on blog

    To Whom It May Concern,

    My last two blog entries have not displayed the TITLES I have named them in the TITLE BOX. When I publish the blog, therefore, there is not title —just the date I wrote the blog. This is awful considering the entire point to a blog is to see what new articles (or blogs) you have written. I have not changed my settings, so I have no clue what the problem is.

    Prompt assistance with this issue would be welcomed. I appreciate your time and consideration.

    I do see titles on your posts. Example: Where The Independents Go, Boo? http://davidbeilstein.wordpress.com/2012/10/19/where-the-independents-go-boo/

    The titles aren't showing on the main log page because the posts have been published as asides. Edit them, select "Standard" in the Format module, click Update.

    The titles are not showing on my blogs — just dates of the posting, time thief. When you click on the link you have provided above "Where The Independents Go, Boo" it does not show up. Other formats do not include the picture I have posted with the blog. I am doing nothing different when I started (over 64 posts ago), so I am wondering what the hell has changed — better yet, what the hell is going on?

    Times Thief,

    This concerns the last two blogs — not the other 64 times thief. The last two do not show up on the menu screen and altogether on some blog formats. What is going on? I am posting my blogs no different than the other 64 blogs.

    Please read what justpi posted and act on it. Edit the posts, change the post format to "standard" from "aside" in the Format module and click "update".

    Ok. Now the pictures to the two latest blogs do not show up on my menu screen of my latest format theme. Why?

    And why can I not view the 12 comments on various blogs I have written? Is there any way to view these?

    It seems odd comments don't just appear on the blog the person commented on — why does this process have to be so hard.

    And — why are these things changing when I have done nothing? The titles, pictures, — all appeared fine a week ago. I have not changed a thing about how I blog and publish those blogs.

    Any clues?

    If they are still asides and your theme doesn't support asides, they won't show.

    No, I switched from asides to standard (like you said) — and still no pictures for my last two blogs on the menu screen.

    And again — how come I cannot view the 12 comments people have written? And how to I get those comments at the bottom of the blog entries?

    And again squared!

    I have not changed how I blog since I got on wordpress. So How did Standard change to Aside (Yes, dammit, I changed it back to Standard) and how did pictures that have always showed up on the menu and the blogs suddenly not show up?

    You gotta have a better answer than: "If they are still asides and your theme doesn't support asides, they won't show."

    Help me out here...

    What are the titles of the missing posts? Do they show on your Dashboard Posts page? What is their Status (draft, scheduled, etc)?

    Do the comments show on your Dashboard Comments page? Are they in your Spam folder?

    I have fixed the titles. Changed from "aside" to "standard". That is no longer a problem anymore.

    What is a problem is the pictures (last three blogs) I have posted with my recent blog entries are NOT appearing. I am not posting (publishing) my blogs any different than the last 64 blogs. Yet now, my pictures are not showing up.

    I am wondering why?

    Also, I want to see the 12 comments people have written. How does one view comments?

    You can get a full refund OR you can answer the questions I just asked.

    What are the titles of the missing posts? Do they show on your Dashboard Posts page? What is their Status (draft, scheduled, etc)?

    You are not listening to me. I fixed the damn titles issue. It is the comment issue I cannot fix and I have no idea what you are talking about.

    Another Question: Last three blog entries are not displaying pictures with the blog in the "menu" page. When you select the blog — the picture is there. But in the menu page the last three blogs do not have the pictures I posted with the blog when first writing them. If you check out my blog now you will see what I am talking about.
