Tooltip for sidebar

  1. Hi. I am working on a site where my client wants to have an image, more like a button, in his sidebar (I am using a Text Widget for the png file), but when clicked, rather than go to a separate page, it stays on the current page, but pulls down some text that has links in them. I figured I could use a tooltip for this, but Tippy only seems to work on posts or pages. I want to have it work on the sidebar. Is there a way to do this? Are there any plugins that work this way? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

  2. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and we cannot install individual plugins into them for security reasons. Those found on the internet are for WordPress.ORG installs which run on different software.

There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com to provide FTP access and the ability to upload any plugins . To move to wordpress.org see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

  3. It's not a free hosted site. It was installed using wordpress.org

  4. Then you are posting to the wrong support forum. This on is only for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. You need to post to http://wordpress.org/support/
