Top posts and pages in the sidebar just showing my avatar

    On both my blogs when I opened them today the side bar widget that shows "top posts and Pages" every one had a picture of my avatar, not photos from the posts as had been there previously. Looked very over the top and so I immediately took the widget off. The top posts gallery has now been taken off the side bar. I would like it back but only if it is not my face repeated over and over. I am not very photogenic :( Hope you can help...

    Same for me. As a short term fix, I went into Appearance/widgets/top posts & pages/edit and switched it to display as text list rather than as image grid. This does at least then restore links to the particular pages on your blog. When they fix they problem, you can go in and switch it back.

    I'm having a similar problem with my blog http://fromthepagesofhistory.wordpress.com. I'm using the Bold Life theme.

    Thanks Gardenersworld, good tip I will display as text till the WP boffins fix it for us... I use adventure journal theme...

    No need for multiple posts. This problem is tagged for modlook, multiple threads are tagged as "top post and pages" and I put a sticky post at the top of the forums.

    Subscribe to that thread or the one linked below and above to be notified when staff responds. Staff has been notified so I believe this will be fixed soon.

    Me too. Wish it gets fixed soon. I will revert to text display instead of image and text for now til it is fixed.
