Top Posts by all time traffic

  1. Right now we can see Top Posts in the last 7 days or 30 days. Is it possible to have all time Top Posts based on their views/traffic? It'd be nice to have something like that in the stats...

  2. If you click on "top posts" and then click on summarize: "30 days" and then go to the link in your browser link bar to this place: numdays=30 (it's a ways to the right), you can change the "30" (for 30 days to virtually anything you want. You will have to figure out how long you have been blogging in days. I do this quite often.

  3. this is perfect...! thank you so much!

  4. OK, that works.. great tip and thankyou.
    Now, how do I put that in a widget to place in my sidebar?

  5. You would have to use a text widget and do it, and update it, manually since only you can see your stats.

  6. No, we already have a Top Posts widget that you simply have to drag into the sidebar. It won't list actual hits, but it will list the top posts currently on your blog in terms of traffic that way.

  7. @rain
    As I understand it, that widget only displays the top post in the past 24-48 hours, or did I read it wrong on the widget? Walkingbetween was looking for all-time top post unless I misunderstood.

  8. Is it possible to have all time Top Posts based on their views/traffic? It'd be nice to have something like that in the stats...

    @TSP
    That's what I understood from the OP's quote as well.

  9. The widget only lists CURRENT top posts, as I said. But it's better than doing it by hand.
