Top Rated widget producing non valid links

    If you check the http://greekpoet.wordpress.com/ site you will notice that the Top Rated widget creates invalid links when the URLs are long.

    I.e. instead of
    http://greekpoet.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/%ce%b8%ce%b1-%ce%ad%cf%81%ce%b8%ce%b5%ce%b9-%ce%b8%ce%ac%ce%bd%ce%b1%cf%84%ce%bf%cf%82-%ce%ba%ce%b1%ce%b9-%ce%bc%ce%ac%cf%84%ce%b9%ce%b1-%cf%83%ce%bf%cf%85-%ce%b8%ce%b1-%ce%ad%cf%87%ce%b5%ce%b9/

    It creates
    http://greekpoet.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/%ce%b8%ce%b1-%ce%ad%cf%81%ce%b8%ce%b5%ce%b9-%ce%b8%ce%ac%ce%bd%ce%b1%cf%84%ce%bf%cf%82-%ce%ba%ce%b1%ce%b9-%ce%bc%ce%ac%cf%84%ce%b9%ce%b1-%cf%83%ce%bf%cf%85-%c

    producing a 404 error.

    The blog I need help with is greekpoet.wordpress.com.

    I decided to remove the Top Rated widget today from my blog's sidebar and removed the stars/rating from the blog's front page. The "All" link showed up in the Top Rated widget and it became a default view. This was not producing the suitable results that I was accustomed to previously. The second thing I noticed was the increase in the page load as my blog no longer fetching anything from polldaddy site, which I believe was causing a significant delay to load the page previously. Now, the blog loads much faster.

    I am not happy with this but the difference in speed was significant to compromise.

    I don't think so. I believe that is why/how Panos began coming to these forums, long ago.

    I don't think so. The Support doc I'm linking to in my post simply suggests limiting the slug to a single word. (My alternative suggestion: use latin characters for the slugs.) You can contact staff directly here:
