Hi Everyone, I started a blog about a month ago and through various marketing tactics was able to increase my views into the high hundreds. Then, all of a sudden, my views dropped to the teens and maybe 20's for the last week. I find this impossible since I haven't changed anything. Is this a problem with WP stat tracking? Has anyone else experienced this?

We need a link to the site in question to give you accurate help - traffic goes up and traffic goes down but sometimes there is a reason it drops - we need to look at the site to see if you have done some sort of not good.

Here are 25 basic steps to take to increase traffic to your blog:
1. Structure a reader and search engine blog;
2. In blogging content is king create unique, high quality content so publish fresh content frequently;
3. Learn basic SEO so you can use keywords effectively and apply basic SEO to your headlines, blog and posts;
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results.
4. Make your blog posts look professional;
5. Create at least 4-6 pillar posts and continue to create pillar posts;

Thank you TimeThief. However, the majority of my traffic was coming from social network sites and the daily postings I made on them. I'm now showing little if 0 each day. To go from 1k a day down to 30 and 0 traffic from the social sites like FB and Twitter sounds highly unlikely. Any thoughts?
It's possible you were targeted by spammers before; if so, the key will be in Likes: have your Likes decreased as well?
It's possible you changed to automated posting, eg Publicize, and those have significantly lower payoffs, as FB downgrades them and they frequently make Tweets that are nonsensical or cut off.
It's possible that your blog has been flagged as Mature and taken off Safe Search.
You have only 37 Likes on Facebook; it's doubtful that was ever driving your traffic. I have over 300 and fewer than 100 hits a day on that particular blog. Did other people posting your links get more response? Maybe they defriended you?
You also have 14 Twitter followers. If indeed the majority of your traffic came from social media, then either you had been befriended by a bigfoot celebrity who has now stopped passing along your links or you were indeed getting hammered by spambots clicking through from there in the hope you'll click and Follow back.
Quantcast also showed some of your early days as a lot of views per visit - several over 16 if I remember correctly -
This is all great feedback and what I'm hearing is entirely possible. Most of the traffic was coming from pinterest and the re-pins we were getting which probably resulted in the increased traffic. Then, the pinning on several things stopped and the traffic stopped. It just never occurred to me. Thanks for all the help everyone!
Ah, the Pinterest effect. I forgot about those guys.
