traffic dropping

  1. anyone have any ideas why my traffic would drop, instead of going up. http://www.beergirlsandmore.wordpress.com

    [Blog is NSFW]

  2. "...why my traffic would drop"

Your URL? Perhaps you've been busy --haven't heard:
"girl" --female under age 18; not suitable for exploitation. Perhaps: blog readers find your 'stuff' bor-ing; seeking sophisticated relevant or just interesting material and find yours doesn't qualify?

  3. themanblog - your blog is marked as Mature because of it's content. That removes it from all listings inside the domain but not from external search engines.

  4. There's a girl... suckingXXXX in the sidebar of the entry page.

    I think that's beyond mature.

    Is XXX allowed on WP?

  6. There's a girl... sucking XXXX in the sidebar of the entry page.

    I think that's beyond mature.

    Is XXX allowed on WP?

Also, I don't see my navbar when I click on the site to mark it as objectionable.

    PLUS:
NO MATURE WARNING WHEN CLICKING THE SITE'S MAIN PAGE LINK!

  7. I'm pretty sure it is, but sites flagged as mature will never be linked from any official pages.

Except, of course, when dicks like this guy post to the Support forum.

  8. WordPress is being incredibly slow right now.
    Sorry 'bout the duplicate postings.

  9. @leighm
My own position on porno blogs is stated in this thread http://wordpress.com/forums/topic.php?id=3131&replies=63#post-19915
I reported this blog as a mature blog with a blogger actively spamming the forum solely for the purpose of increasing porno traffic last night.
Podz reponded saying it had been labeled "mature" for ages. He also placed the NSFW on the first post as the blogger in question conveniently forgot to post the warning. Apparently as long as those people depicted in the images doing whatever are not under-age there is no violation of the WordPress.com ToS.
Also podz reminded me that all bloggers are entitled to support services [regardless of the quality of content, or shall I say lack thereof, in their blog].

It's my opinion that this blogger who posted on the forum is not entitled to *WORDPRESS COMMUNITY* support [note his post is not technical in nature, is it?] It's my opinion that he's trolling for clicks and that he's getting them from forum users like poppy, you and me. If I'm correct then he's achieving his purpose and IMO that's what truly SUCKS BIGTIME.
I'd love to see the complete log of wordpress.com bloggers who clicked on the link in question and the length of time they stayed connected to it, wouldn't you?

  10. SYSADMIN ALERT!
THERE IS NO WARNING ON CLICKING IN TO THE SITE!

    beergirlsandmore.wordpress.com

...and if it IS TRUE that XXX is hosted here, my blog goes elsewhere and wordpress.com can pander without me.

    Pandering IS the correct terminology.

  11. Hey, I can go to that site without EVER SEEING AN 18 year old or over panel.
    Straight off the web

It may not violate WP's TOS, but it certainly violates mutlple federal laws.

    Sysadmin comment?

  12. The blog has NO illegal content.

This person is entitled to support.
This person is entitled to a blog here.

This is not the place to further personal views.

If you do not like, do not click more than the once.

    Closed.
