Is there a way to transfer a blog name (e.g. zyx.wordpress.com) from one user to another ?
Of course this is after the two users agreed.

Yes.
The admin of zyx invites the new person to be a user on zyx
They are then promoted
The new admin removes the old admin.

Following on my previous question, is there a systematic way (e.g. [email redacted] to be forwarded to their real email) to contact a blog's owner if this one did not leave an email address on their blog.

I'm not sure what you mean.
If I had a blog ([email redacted]) is there a way for someone to email me through that? No. Unless someone has made their address visible it remains private.
Or did I miss your point?
