   I have just created another blog and wish to transfer a bunch of posts from another wordpress blog. I'vr done a few searches of the forums but didn't come up with an answer. Do i have to do this manually?

   Any suggestions appreciated. Be nice, I'm a newbie.

   Are the blogs in question WordPress.com blogs?

   i just moved to wordpress from Blogger and I read something new they have that specifically allows for that.
   I'm not moving my posts

   @blanks57: You can. Dashboard -> Manage -> Import -> Blogger/ Blogspot. All it does it copy over your posts and comments.

   Thanks for the replies. I said in the original post "transfer a bunch of posts from another wordpress blog", so yes, they are both wordpress blogs.

   I asked because there's a substantial difference between WordPress.com blogs and WordPress.org blogs, and not everyone posts to the appropriate forum. Glad you got it sorted anyway.
