Will I have issues when I transfer my wordpress.org site to a wordpress.com site, as it has two plug-ins currently installed.
Our new website was built by someone for us, on wordpress.org and we self hosted with our IT provider. However, we have cancelled our hosting contract with the current provider due to personal reasons and are now interested in hosting with WordPress on wordpress.com.
I understand that I can create a .com account, which I have under dpconsultingltd.wordpress.com but I am worried that if I continue with the transfer, the plug-ins or whatever has been installed on the .org site won't work on wordpress.com, after reading you can't upload plug-ins or change PHP code with .com.
You can see our new .org website at http://www.dpconsulting.org.uk
Our site does not attract high amounts of traffic, etc so we thought wordpress.com would be the best place to host our site.
Please let me know if I could continue with transferring to wordpress.com
Many Thanks.
