I have two blogs on WP, and I'd like to consolidate them down to one, and whenever someone types in the url and/or accesses the one blog from a bookmark, have it redirect to the one consolidated blog. Is there a way to do this, or should I just put a final post up on the one site leading everyone to the other blog?
The blog I need help with is mymindonlife.com.

There are four options for you to consider.
1. http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/
2. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
3. You can create a custom menu and include a custom link to the other blog in it.

4. You can export content from one blog out and import it into the other blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
Thanks. I keep noticing a site redirect upgrade on the various posts you linked to, would that be an option for me as well?

Its still on wordpress.com, I just paid for the domain name and mapping upgrade so it doesn't have the blogname.wordpress.com format.
