Translate

  1. Hi,

I've recently gained some foreign language-readers, and was wondering if there's any widget I could upload to my site to get a googletranslate (or something similar) so they can understand what I'm writing about without having to copy paste everything.

The blog I need help with is livaaarre.com.

  2. Hi Liva - one thing you might try is linking to the Google translation of your site in a Text widget in your sidebar. For example:

    <a href="http://translate.google.com/translate?sl=auto&tl=es&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Flivaaarre.com%2F">Click here to read in Spanish!</a>

  3. Thank you soo much! stupid question, how do I get it to translate from norwegian to english? where can I find/make the html code?

  4. Hi Liva - if you just paste your blog's URL, http://livaaarre.com/, into http://translate.google.com/ and pick the language you want, it will translate your whole site. Then, you can copy the entire address in your browser's address bar. English is: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=no&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Flivaaarre.com%2F
